Celebrate Good Times

It's 3:00 at Hollywood Studios and time for a party!  As Block Party Bash rolls down the street, you know it's going to be a good time - just look at how short those skirts are!  It's always nice when Disney costume designers throw a bone to the Dads in the audience.

It may be 100 degrees out, but these girls are all smiles and energy.  You've never seen anyone who looks so happy to shake their groove thangs for you!  Did I mention there are skip stilts and trampolines, too?  Sure, it's mostly guys on those, but not always. 

Here and there, they even have some of those short-skirted girls up on floats.  Yes, it's sexy... but it's Disney sexy, which still means pretty wholesome.

Once a Disney Girl...

So apparently something called "Hellcats" is a new show starting next month on the CW (is that still on the air?).  The print ad got my interest, but then I did a double-take.  That's a couple Disney Girls... 

It's Ashley Tisdale (from High School Musical and "The Suite Life of Zach & Cody") and Alyson Michalka (of Aly & AJ and Cow Belles), all growed up and playing cheerleaders.  When does this come on again?  Sign me up!

The Fairest of Them All

What better way to start this blog than with Annette Funicello, the original Disney Girl.  From the moment she flashed that smile on "The Mickey Mouse Club," boys all across America were hooked.  Okay, so they were 12-year-old boys, but still. As they grew up, so did she!
